You Are Worth Your Time

Are you living… or just getting through the day?

Have you ever stopped mid-scroll or mid-sentence and thought, “I don’t even recognize myself anymore”?

That feeling—that dull ache of disconnection—isn’t just in your head.
It’s the result of living in survival mode. And far too many people are.

We’ve been taught to push through, hold it together, keep giving, keep smiling, keep performing.

But here’s the truth:
Stress isn’t just making us tired.
It’s making us forget who we are.

We disconnect from our bodies, our emotions, our intuition—and ultimately, ourselves.
We become numb to joy, peace, and aliveness.

But one problem that people don't realize is that stress is seductive… like a drug.
It’s this slow seduction to get a little busy here, a little busy there, taking on a little more and a little more.
Ugh, that was my M.O. for way too long until my body and my internal well-being started to scream at me. Apparently, I needed to hear it louder and louder.

We’ve bought into the idea that we should be overworked, over-busy, over-focused on helping everyone around us—to the point that we forget ourselves.
We not only silence our needs… we forget them.

But your body remembers.
Your soul remembers.

And that quiet inner whisper you’ve been hearing?
That’s the part of you that’s still in there—longing for you.

If you’re exhausted from the pressure to hold it all…
If you feel like you’ve abandoned yourself in the process of being everything for everyone else—
You’re not alone.

So many live this way because we think it’s the only way. We think we need to be exhausted, overwhelmed, and burned out. But when we live this way, we have forgotten our Self.

Isn’t it absolutely crazy that we’ve learned to live a life of forgetting our body, our well-being, our SELF?
Sometimes I am in awe of how crazy and dysfunctional society has taught us to live. We are actually taught to ignore ourselves and our basic needs.

Our society has created the need for therapists and coaches because we are breaking down. Life shouldn’t be about barely getting through or barely being able to breathe and enjoy.

You deserve a life that nourishes you, not just one that demands from you.

Take a minute and do a life review.
How have you been seduced by stress?
How have you been seduced to be so busy that you are disconnecting from your Self?

You are worth your time.
You are worth paying attention to—because it determines the quality of your life.
